It’s clean, in a great location and reasonably priced. We were in room 100 which is kind of loud from the traffic but so close to the best parking spot. If you are a light sleeper you probably will need a different room. My wife is a very light sleeper but she has a white noise eye mask that worked like a charm. The staff were nice. It’s a basic continental breakfast. I much prefer to do that kind of breakfast than fast food or an expensive sit down breakfast. (Bagels/toast, oatmeal packs, hard boiled eggs, yogurt; not a hot breakfast)
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Thank goodness they had blackout curtains because the lights outside the rooms are very bright. Speaking of bright lights, all the lights in the room were also bright, cold white lights. Considering the location, my room was relatively quiet. (Would not expect the same on game weekend.) It was bare bones, but that's pretty much what I expected from a low-cost room. The breakfast was unappealing -- mostly carbs, so I went to Mandy's. The in-room "coffee maker" was a joke. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. I was annoyed that they didn't refund my deposit when I checked out, but it was refunded within 24 hours. Judging from a little sign in the room giving prices for pillows, towels, alarm clocks, etc., they probably experience a lot of theft by students visiting for ball games. Overall, okay for an overnight.
The front desk staff was so kind and welcoming. We arrived before check in time and the front desk agent gave us some recommendations for coffee shops in the area and it was a great spot! The room was clean and one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in for a hotel (which has been quite a few). The complimentary breakfast was delicious with good options. Definitely will stay here again and recommend this to family and friends visiting Eugene!
We went for a quick getaway from Portland. Great stay other than the hottub was down :/ However Lauralie in the breakfast made it up to us. She cooked bacon just cause we asked. She was very nice and helpful.

From the moment we arrived, we felt at home here. Madi greeted us, checked us in, and we walked in to one of the cleanest hotel rooms we’ve ever experienced. Additionally, the common areas were sparkling clean. The room was large with high ceilings. Lots of storage, with a huge desk area. Kitchenette had everything we needed, and again, sparkling clean. Candlewood Suites is the place to stay. Thanks for a great experience!
Definitely nice rooms! Very clean. We enjoyed our 3 night stay here. I will say,
the doors are VERY loud when they close and it was a bit startling when your
neighbor would close their door at 11pm. Also the breakfast wasn't very
impressive. The bacon was very overcooked, the eggs were very very fake I
believe or they at least tasted like it and the texture was very bad, the bagels
were kinda stale and the muffins were still 3/4 frozen when I went to eat one.
But besides breakfast not being great we enjoyed it there, again it was very
clean and very nice, VERY expensive but a very nice hotel overall.

This place punches way above its weight… in terms of cleanliness, room quality (especially the suite with sectional sofa), breakfast and particularly staff. Natalie at the Front Desk is a true star. She is courteous, kind and utterly professional. Thank you for making my last two stays so enjoyable. I look forward to my next! Date of stay: May 2025 Trip type: Traveled solo
Clean rooms. Friendly staff. The layout is just a little odd to me. No closets.
Just hang your clothesout in the open. Walls are a little thin so you can hear
someone coughing next-door.

Good choice for a simple stay. Sparkling clean. Nice
breakfast with good omelettes. Free coffee in the lobby. I liked the nightlight
in the bathroom. Fridge in the room. It would be nice to have a microwave there,
but there is one in the lobby. Water refill station in lobby. I joined Hilton
Honors program and got some free water. I would stay there again.
Room Tip: You can trip housekeeping, etc, with a card left on the nightstand.
I've never
seen that before.

Had a horrible stay. Loud road noise. Beds were
uncomfortable. Breakfast was subpar. Had bites on my legs that may or may not
have been from bed bugs. Would not recommend. Have to say the hotel staff was
very nice though. No complaints there.
